Jetway - New Jetway J-NF18G nForce2 IGP Motherboard

March 19th 2003 | Hardware

Hop over to Jetway’s chinese website and you might as be surprised as I was to find details of a new nForce2 IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) board called the J-NF18G (you’ll also find a bigger pic there too).

Apart from the dazzling polar-white PCB, the most noticeable feature to many will be the six PCI slots and the addition of passive cooling on the southbridge (MCP-T). You might be pleasantly surprised at the specs too, some of which are bound to set apart the J-NF18G from other nForce2 IGP motherboards. Whoever sent the specs in (cheers, by the way) pointed out the generous amount of room around the CPU socket and potential problems with long VGA cards interfering with the tips of the memory slots and the close proximity of the power connector to the AGP slot.

Here’s a rundown of the specs:

- Geforce4MX Graphics
- 3 DDR slots
- Barton support (FSB 400MHz)
- Serial ATA RAID 0/1
- ATA133 IDE
- 6 PCI slots
- Firewire
- Soundstorm without optical outs on rear panel
- AGP8X
- 4 USB 2.0 ports
- S-Video out
- 10M/100M LAN
- Radiator on Northbridge and Southbridge
- AC’97
