While the North American release date for PlayStation3 is slated for November 17, and the European launch for March 2007, it appears you can already import Japanese versions of Sony’s new console. GamersHell has spotted Play-Asia.com offering both 60GB and 20GB PS3 models, with prices listed in US dollars and GB pounds:
You can order either the 20GB or the 60GB Japanese models for just 899USD, respectively 999USD. What’s even more interesting is that the 20GB model seems to be in stock and shipping within 24 hours, while the other one ships in one to five days. There’s even a promotional offer if you get Ridge Racer 7 together with Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight, both Japanese versions of these titles, but featuring English language.
