I´m afraid that Iwill has achieved the smallest Workstation in the world, although there´s a beast inside. With a stable architecture and a high performance, AMD´s Opteron processors for Workstations are the key to success in video edition and 3D design environments. The Opteron is able to execute 32 and 64 bits code and offers to the customers an easy way to migrate to a 64 bits platform.

NVidia´s NForce3 Pro 250 chipset gives us a guarantee of performance and Iwill has a large experience developing multi-processor platforms. In our honest opinion, professional users of 3D design and video edition applications have their best choice here in order to save money and space.

. . .This PC is obviously not oriented to the home user segment of the market, but it´s a very good solution for a low cost server for business environments. Its price is expected to be low compared to similar platforms currently available in the market.

Iwill confirmed us that this is not the definitive mainboard version. The definitive version and its BIOS will get a better performance for sure and they will have all the configuration and overclocking options available. So we have to take the results of our benchmarks carefully. We expect that Iwill will send us a sample of this barebone pretty soon in order to torture it properly using Windows XP-64 or Windows 2003 64bit edition.
