Harry Potter and the Deathly Leaked Book Torrents

The latest – and last – of absurdly wealthy author J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has been completely leaked to several torrent sites, reports Torrentfreak.

Two torrents of the book showed up on piracy utopia Demonoid.com and immediately gained a ton of downloaders and over a thousand seeders. However, the torrents were removed and that was that. They later sprang up on Mininova which has since removed the torrents.

There have been loads of fake leaks popping up all over the place, says Torrentfreak, however this one is the real deal.

So popular are J.K. Rowling’s stories, and the Web pages built around them, that a handful of online fans have become stars in their own right.

Arguably the biggest is Emerson Spartz, who was just 12 when he set up www.mugglenet.com. Today the site is visited up to 40 million times a month, making it one of the biggest Potter sites in the world and a viable commercial venture.

“Pottermania” has never been more intense ahead of the publication on Saturday of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, the seventh and final installment of a series that has already sold 325 million copies worldwide.
