December 1st 2004 | Gaming

Half Life 2 remains to be the hot game this holiday season, and it just got better. We have already looked at graphics benchmarks, CPU scaling, and the hidden multiplayer mode. Well now Valve has enabled the actual Half Life 2 multiplayer full of models and maps and we could not be happier. Simply login to Steam and the Half Life 2 multiplayer download is just over 30MB.

We will take a quick look at the new multiplayer, and throw in some benchmarks just for fun from our own custom demo. First we begin with screenshots from each of the two multiplayer levels including in the new download: DM_Lockdown and DM_Overwatch.
