Multi Theft Auto is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PC (currently only version 1.0) that allows you to play it online against players around the world. This is the first release of MTA:SA which contains a race modification and a race map editor:
Almost 8 months ago we started working on a multiplayer modification for a brand new game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, called Multi Theft Auto (MTA). This release is the first MTA we′ve ever released based on our new revolutionary “Blue” technology and features the gamemode “Race”.
This release also features a very easy to use map editor allowing anyone to create a map containing spawnpoints, checkpoints, objects and “pickups”. The maps created can be added to an MTA server and played online with your friends at any time.
The first version of Multi Theft Auto is now available for download, allowing you to play this multiplayer mod for GTA San Andreas. Client and server [Linux, Windows] versions now available
