Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology, Micro-Star International (MSI) and Albatron will begin volume shipments of their SLI-ready PCI Express (PCIe) x16 graphics cards based on the new NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX graphics processor unit (GPU), previously called the G70, at the end of this month or the beginning of July, reports DigiTimes.
All the companies are offering GeForce 7800 GTX PCI Express (PCIe) graphics cards that feature 256MB of DDR3 memory with a 256-bit memory bus and are capable of a maximum solution at 2048×1536 (at 85Hz), and have display outputs including video in and out (VIVO), HDTV, DVI-I, D-SUB.
In addition to the four makers, Biostar, Chaintech Computer, Gainward, Prolink Microsystems and Sparkle all began listing graphics card products supporting the new Nvidia GPU on their websites once Nvidia announced the availability of the 7800 GTX on June 22.
