For most people, a mousepad is merely an afterthought, and many, even gamers, use whatever is available at the local discount store, if they use one at all. For a true gamer, however, a quality mousepad is essential. With a cheap pad, you’re prone to pad slippage at the worst possible moment, or facing spotty response from an uneven, glossy table surface at your local LAN party. Good Work Systems, known primarily for their R2 gaming mouse, enter the mousepad fray with their Launchpad Gaming Mousepad System, designed to optimize the performance of your optical/laser mouse.
Given the price of the Launchpad, I’m impressed. Granted, the size is on the small side, but larger pads from other companies can cost as much, if not more, and do not come with a frame or mouse bungee.. ..If you’re a gamer with a small desk, or spend a lot of hours working on word processing or graphics, you should give the Launchpad a try.
