Gigabyte Technology decided to adopt NVIDIA’s Socket A nForce2-series chipsets for its mainboards. A nice and well-timed move for the mainboard manufacturer since NVIDIA’s chipsets are now really trendy and every mainboard maker committed to AMD Socket A utilises them. Today Gigabyte Technology officially announced its GA-7NNXP mainboard based on the yet-unannounced nForce2 Ultra 400 core-logic from NVIDIA… Besides premier GA-7NNXP mainboard, Gigabyte also offers bunch of other devices based on NVIDIA nForce2 chipset, including 7NNXPV, 7N400 Pro, 7N400V Pro, 7N400 and 7N400V mainboards. Pricing information is not available, but the mainboards should make their appearance shortly, so, you will know everything yourself.
