Gigabyte Radeon X800XL PCIe (512MB BGA DDR3) Review

October 6th 2005 | Graphics Cards

Gigabyte GV-RX80L512V, powered by Radeon X800XL CPU, boosted with 512MB of GDDR3 memory running at 256-bit. Featuring 16 pixel pipelines like the top-of-the-end X800XT, the X800XL is a more affordable alternative.

In the past, powerful graphic cards usually come with huge and noisy cooling fans, but the X800XL uses the new 0.11um fabrication process that generates less heat. At the same time, Gigabyte’s Silent Pipe cooling technology gives you more efficient cooling, thus a small fan is all it needs to keep the GPU cool.
