Envy News has reviewed the Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP nForce3 250 motherboard:

Gigabyte, a good friend to the nVIDIA camp where motherboards are concerned, has just released their GA-K8NSNXP motherboard. This motherboard is based off of nVIDIA’s new nForce3 250 chipset. Not only does it improve performance for the whole platform, but it adds some new features that make even the most jaded consumer an immediate enthusiast.

Gigabyte, not being content with the features of the nForce3 250, has implemented some new features at which to drool over.

…It’s true, you’re not going to go from your Barton 3200+ to an Athlon64 2800+ and see a huge jump. But where the Barton core maxes out, the Athlon64 core takes over. Once the GA-K8NSNXP matures you’ll see some wicked overclocks, especially with the Athlon64 2800+ as you have seen on some other boards like MSI’s and EPoX’s nF3 250-based boards.

With an overabundance of features, such as IDE RAID, SATA RAID, dual Ethernet, the new FireWire 800 (1394b), Dual BIOS, a Dual Power System for stability, 7.1ch audio and the multitude of utilities, this board has a value attached to it like no other. An overclockers board it isn’t, but if a multitude of features and a stable stock platform is more your forte, this board is calling your name.
