GIGABYTE - Gigabyte 7N400Pro nForce2 Review

June 10th 2003 | Hardware

Hans Chang takes a look at Gigabyte’s high-end nForce2 motherboard (I haven’t linked directly to the review as the ONZ site uses frames so follow the link and head for the Reviews section):

Gigabyte’s 7N400Pro is a top performing board, running neck to neck with Epox’s 8RDA+ and Asus’ A7N8X. It is also a feature rich board, with the ability host a whopping 10 IDE hard drives. This would satisfy most of the storage freaks out there. The onboard SATA controller means that you can hook up 7N400Pro with a couple of Western Digital Raptor drives to further enhance your performance. However, the 7N400 failed at overclocking, unable to POST whenever multipliers are changed.
