The Gigabyte 6600GT PCI-E video card is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a mid-priced graphics card that is fully capable of playing all of the current games on the market today. The picture quality is amazing and even in 2D the text is easy to read and you will have no problem working on documents when you take a break from your next round of Half Life or UT 2004.
So what are you actually getting with the Gigabyte 6600 GT. For about $200 in my opinion you’re getting a hell of nice mid-price card that that still has considerable headroom left to overclock it if you decide to go that route. It also offer you the option of HD-TV output via the breakaway box provided. As well as two pretty decent games to play in your spare time to see just how well you new card works. Is there a downside to the card? I can’t think of a single thing other than I want another just like it and a motherboard that supports SLI.
