Gigabyte G-Power Lite CPU cooler review

February 27th 2006 | Cooling

Though it is not a completely unique product, Gigabyte’s G-Power Lite had a great showing in our review. It is lighter and less obtrusive than most CPU coolers that use this design and it was able to cool quite well. It was a considerable improvement over the stock AMD cooler and could still use our motherboard’s stock mounting bracket, something which is a big deal because is makes installation much easier.

On the whole the G-Power Lite is well designed and easy to work with. Once installed the 110mm fan is not very loud, it only spins at 2450 RPM, and even quieter when put at 2000 RPM.
