GeForce 6600 GT - AGP Version

The BR2 chip can bridge native PCI Express chip back to AGP and this is exactly what Nvidia plans to do. Both ATI and Nvidia agreed that AGP market is here to stay so it was natural to expect an AGP version of its new mainstream card. Nvidia has to build new PCB to be able to fit both NV43 chip and BR2 bridge chip on the same card and that’s why this card will be introduced a bit later than the native PCI Express cards that are expected in just a few days.
