Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne went gold. Shacknews says it’ll show up around July 1st….for the low low price of $35!

I heard a rumor that the Freelancer 1.1 patch is about done! Freelancer addicts unite!

There be a Devastation single player demo now…don’t know if I consider that interesting or not, really.

Lancers Reactor has the Freelancer Rebalance mod currently at 1.1 build 2! Rebalance does tons of things including adding armor and power plant upgrades, gunboat, cruiser, and battleship encounters, recharging enemy shields, destroyable bases, many new ships, and changes the weapons loadouts around. It’s neat! There’s also Reynens mod which does a lot of similar stuff, but I haven’t paid attention to it (sorry Reynen!)

Full version of RtCW: Enemy Territory free for owners of the original! How’s that for buying cake and eating it too.

There’s a Colin Mcrae Rally 3 demo over here and over at the electric playground you’ll find a Tron 2 and a Jedi Academy preview.

Neverwinter Nights expansion went gold! I never actually played NWN so can’t comment on how unerringly cool that is….for good reason I suppose.

Planetside shipped too…(don’t have broadband, don’t care)

And 3DO died! I personally think its cause they didn’t continue the Uprising line for PC…which is why so many dumb games showed up…

And some random crap for those gamers who still use win2k from Neowin… Details this week have emerged about the release date of Windows 2000 Service Pack 4. The final edition is due to be released in English and German form to RTP (Release to Premier) on June the 16th. Shortly afterwards the RTW/RTM (Release to Web/Release to Manufacturing) will be released on June the 18th.
