Foxconn WinFast NF4UK8AA-8EKRS Motherboard Review (nForce4 Ultra S939)

The Foxconn WinFast NF4UK8AA-8EKRS motherboard is based on the nForce4 Ultra chipset supporting the latest Athlon64 & AthlonFX Socket 939 processors. The nForce4 chipset is the next evolutionary step from the nForce3 series, the most notable changes are the switch to PCI Express, and native support for up to four SATA-300 channels. Foxconn has tried to make this motherboard “Overclocker Friendly” by adding in FSB and voltage adjustments, giving the ability to gain significant performance over stock settings.

…The Foxconn WinFast NF4UK8AA-8EKRS is loaded with features and makes the most of the nForce4 Ultra chipset. This motherboard is also very reasonably priced, coming in around $110 USD. Benchmark results place this nForce4 motherboard very close to the nForce3, the primary interest in this board would be the PCI Express bus for the video card, and of course SATA-300 support.

Overclockers / enthusiasts should consider this board if planning for a PCIe setup, especially for the price. There are plenty of voltage adjustments and other tweaks in the BIOS to keep a person busy for days making adjustments.
