Graphics Cards
The previous mid-range cards from NVIDIA (6600 GT, 7600 GT) redefined what was possible in terms of high levels of performance for not too much money, and while the 8600 GTS certainly follows on this tradition, it just doesn’t feel as awe-inspiring.
While it does change the level of performance you can get for £130, it’s not by a mind blowingly dramatic amount - you’re looking at slightly above 7900 GT levels of performance here. Though the 8600 GTS may not be as ground breaking as previous generations, but it certainly brings a lot to the table for the money.
