I reckon the R600 will be out first before the G80, the R600 is loosely based on the Xenos in the Xbox 360 (except the eDRAM and a few odd's and sod's) so it'll be pretty much done bar the tape out. |

Well Conroe is seriously in my future as it seems Woodcrest can beat Opteron's clock per clock in 64 bit - no where near as much though in 32 bit 
From the looks of it with the insane power consumption the stock cooling will not be getting any quieter... I may have to "contract" Krips to help me setup WCing on my next rig |

I would gradly give up a large chunk of buffer ram for some Xenos on-die memory, given the visuals on the XBox360.
You can just imagine the price tag.  |
