Does anyone have this board? Can you check the bios and tell me if the DIMM voltage can be set to 2.2 volts or higher? I bought some Crucial Ballistix ram that needs 2.2 volts and as I've been shopping for a main board I'm discovering to m surprise that not all go above 2.0 volts. Thanks

Thanks. I went with the next model up, the GA-MA78G-DS3H RT. The tech at Gigabyte checked his info and told me this one goes up to 2.5 volts. I hope he knew what he was talking about as it comes Thursday from Newegg. It's got better chipset heatsinks, too.

Well, I did not know of that board until now. I just got my S2H yesterday. I am going to use it for a linux media center. Exciting, isn't it ?
The DS3H: it is hard to see the difference.
Luckily my ram are less demanding. |

Well I checked the online owner's manual for both the S2H and the S3H. It is as the tech said. The S2H only has a manual over ride max of +.3 volts whereas the S3H has a manual over ride of +.7 volts. Now, I'm assuming that both boards have a baseline of 1.8 volts as I read somewhere that is now the industry standard for DDR2. I also read (Newegg customer review I think) that the S3H has bigger chipset heat sinks. Other than that the two boards appear to be identical, if the owner's manual is any indicator.

I stand corrected of myself. The S2H is a micro ATX whereas the S3H is ATX form factor. I went to Newegg and red the specs.
