BFG problems...

I bought a BFG nForce about 2-3 weeks ago and all worked fine until a few days ago. I reinstalled windows and it worked for a few hours. Then it froze...

I tried to reboot and it gave me a pretty lengthy serious of long beeps (about 1-2 seconds each). The weird thing is, it'll work for an hour then freeze and go through that process again until I reset BIOS, then the next time it'll work for 15 minutes, then the next time maybe 2 hours.

I have a Radeon X 1900 and an AMD 64 3800. The only old equipment I've been using is my Corsair PC3200 DDR 400 Dual Channel 512 sticks that I bought around Christmas of 2003.

I'm pretty certain that it's no the video card or CPU considering how new they are, and I'm thinking it's either the CPU overheating or the RAM I've been using since it's pretty old. I'll take any help I can get guys. Thanks

P.S. I am still using a factory CPU heatsink/fan. If you guys need anymore info I'll be back periodically (when this thing works right) to check frequently.

what's your cpu temp and the 12volt show?
what brand, model and 12v amp rating?

Try the chaintech forum at pcper as the BFG is a rebaged chaintech.
