Well,today I felt happy,I make a friend's axp-m reborn
The thing got 3x512 twinmos value sticks, the latest remix drivers, latest ati drivers for his 9500@9700 vid card, and a bios with hte newer sata raid bios for his nf7-s rev2.0 with newer driver too...The thing is kicking ass
About my sig, well the l1730s tft has been traded by an IBM C220P (oldskool crts rock )
and the board is waiting for a friend of mine to replace all the caps with panasonic FM ones...unfornutly I will not get that time that I want for that rig..I'll be far away in the university, and have an Hp DV9575ep to do the job...
As an Amd fan I am little sad...but it's the life..@weekend I'll be clocking the athlon xp |

Soltek Qbic EQ3702a (barebones but missing discs and case fan) just purchased off fleabay for £22.03 including p&p. Bad bios flash which I recovered in my other EQ3702a so that was a bargain! I installed an OEM Fista ultimate on her last nite and ALL drivers are present for the board amazingly I wouldn't mind getting my mitts on the old fashioned Nvidia control panel so I can oc the onboard gfx tho, any help would be greatly appreciated |

They're still on nvidia's site.. you have to look under legacy. |

I have my first custom built rig a A7N8X--XP2600 Mobil--3x512 value select -- running as my work computer. It is overclocked to XP3200 speeds. It is totally stable.
As far as internet surfing and regular computer use it is almost as fast as my 939 rig. The dual core opens programs allot faster though. |

My nf2 rig is my primary and still kicking out the mhz nicely!
Windoze xp pro + sp2
NF7-S v2.0 + Stock Abit Bios
Barton XP-M 2500 @ 2.5GHz
Crucial PC3200 512x2
x800xt pe (AGP) <- Gotta love agp
Plus loads of random hardware that you probably dont care about but it's still going strong and i dont see any upgrades in the near future because i an quite simply (skint)
The only thing i have had to replace in the last couple of years was the power supply (antec tp 430p went BOOM) I replaces it with a silverstone zeus ST56ZF and it's been great ever since.
And the only problem i have had is ati drivers are crap with agp, alot of people are having problems with drivers after catalyst 7.6/7.7+ other than that i cant complain. |

Just to make the topic alive...
After some months without nf2 system (the dfi was gaving me problems), this week I found a cheap AN7 (25eur) and bought it...
As I am selling some components for a friend, maybe I'll stay with 2x256 OCZ PC3500 EL plat Limited Edition (BH5 that did 295MHz on nf4) and with a 6800Ultra...
As it is only for playing @ the weekend it is cool..
Will get a biosmod too,and some almost untouched xp sp3 and ubuntu 8.10
It's so cool to play with nf2 again |
