Hi,

I recently upgraded windows xp to x64 because i bought 2 gig ram extra (4gb total, 32-bit win cant take it).

However, i cant seem to get the nvidia onboard lan to work - tried the nforce drivers from nvidia.com, but these dont work (driver status: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)). I tried installing the driver using the nvidia installer, and also tried 'manually' by using the .inf file.

There are no drivers on asus' site that corresponds to my configuration.

Are there no working drivers for my setup?

Any help appreciated!

Seems like I forgot to try one last thing Very Happy

I used the drive microsoft supplied.

1. Uninstalled the not working driver
2. scanned for hardware changes
3. when prompted: install from specific location
4. dont search i will chose the driver to install
5. uncheck show compatible hardware
6. choose the microsoft driver

ps. admins please mark this as solved...
