I've been playing it. I actually just canceled my subscription 5 minutes ago. It's fun (from a hack and slash and I level every 5 minutes perspective) but overall the game is severely lacking in almost every area.
It memory leaks. The customer service is sad (your free month starts from when the servers went up, not when you create your account. In-game petitions/tickets take 3+ days to resolve). The patches only introduce new MAJOR bugs with a handful of weak fixes. Even top-level computers lag and have fps drops.
I've always been a tolerant gamer. I've worked on the software side in a game company, I understand how it goes. But the amount of bugs, non-working features etc. in this game is overly frustrating. It's a hard sell when you can't enjoy a game because of the broken classes, bugs, and non-working features/quests despite actually enjoying the gameplay.
Oh, and the interface is the worst. It's worse than Hellgate London. You can't find a group, can't tell what buffs you have active, can't manipulate your inventory or see how many feat (talent) points you have spent in a particular tree. It's sluggish and unintuitive. On top of that there are so many exploits running around it's not even funny.
Every patch involved preventing some class from being able to kill 20 mobs at once.
I'd give it a 6/10 with an asterisk: "unplayable". I would go into game and within 20 minutes I was posting 5 bugs on the forums about quests, feats, broken combat interface, non-functioning things, etc.
P.S. In-game stats (like Wisdom, Intellect, etc.) plain out don't work and half the stats on gear don't work either. How do you release a game like that?? I certainly wasn't going to pay for it.

I'd actually be playing it if I had a real connection. From what I played of it it was pretty decent.
I don't group much, so that part wouldn't bug me in the slightest. The only real draw to me (since I don't care about the Conan universe in the slightest either) is the fact that there isn't any competition for M rated MMOs.
As far as MMOs go I'm always looking for something different, the WoW style of MMOs is getting really stale. |

Yea, I was looking for a change too. I think it'll be a good game after a couple months and some turn-around patches. But right now all it really did was make me enjoy and respect the quality things that Blizzard does more. |

| Indeed, I'm tempted to end my LOTRO subscription for a while and go back to City of Heroes to tool around in that. CoH and LOTRO are the only ones I really got into. |
