Voltage problems with the M7NCD Ultra

Why does voltage isn't steady? It I wanted it at 1.85v (I had to put 1.75 I found that the voltage is .1 higher than in the bios settings). It goes 1.8 - 2v which is scary because I'm not using watercooling. Just Volcanoe 6 with coper and 7500 rpm fan.

Did anyone damage the cpu by voltage?

Hi,

I would expect some minor voltage fluctuations with most any motherboard. Biostar boards are less expensive because they are doing something somewhere in the manufacturing process to cut down on costs, perhaps on of them is using slightly less stable voltage regulation components. All you need to concern yourself with is if it stays within spec or not, not to be bothered if it floats within the spec range.
