MEGA TEST for bioses of
ABIT NF7 & NF7-S rev. 2.0


settings:

1. FSB 166 or FSB200
2. CPU INTERFACE-enabled, disable
3. CPU/RAM=6/6.
4. multiplier x11, x10.5, x10, x9.5
5. timings CL=2.5, tRCD=3, tRP=3, tRAS=11 (dual i single)
tRC=13, tRFC=15, Auto Precharge=enable, CPC ON lub CPC OFF
ALFA timings: original from ABIT

6. memory controller nVidia 3.3.8

7. Write info about settings: single or dual
8. Test in AIDA94 or EVEREST

after one reboot, please test several times:
10 results of memory read i 10 results of memory write.
2 max i 2 min are rejected. Next mean result by 6 results.
6 results should keep formula:

standard deviation/mean result is less than 0,4% .

For more than 0,4% next step:
3 max i 3 min are rejected. mean result by 4 results.
4 results should keep formula:

standard deviation/mean result is less than 0,4% !!!!!

It is easy, but very important

9. Test in Sandra (Memory BANDWITH Benchmark)

After one reboot, please test:
4 results (it is enough) 1 maximum and 1 minimum are rejected, mean result by 2 results.

10. 3dmark2001SE:

After reboot, please test:
2 results and do mean result by them.
parameters: 1024x768, no filtres, 32bit color.

Very aggresive BIOS very good bandwidth....fantasic optimisations

I recommend this bios for locked Semprons and Bartons 2500+

Mavers, what would you recomend for max fsb on corsair xms3200C2 and my the system in my sig. As of now i am running D26 Black Mantaray L12. I might do some bios testing of my own and put it up here. Sorry for posting in here if I wasnt supposed to. I'll remove it if u want.

Your results are useful.

Results with error more than 0,4% should be rejected (some lowest and highest results, next step "mean" by the rest of results for 3Dmark and Sandra . SuperPi is ok. +- 1s.

Statistic methods are important for comparing sth.

I hope, that more people join us in testing.

Your memories are very good. Try the newest Merlin's Bios TAIPAN on settings:
CL2 tRCD=2 or 3 tRP=2 tRAS=11 (CPU interface= enabled)
for FSB = 200 and more.

My memories TwinMOS DDR3200 run stably 220-222MHz in DUAL on CL2 3-2-11-1T
