I have an Asus M2N motherboard running Windows XP.

If I don't have any USB devices connected, the system goes into standby (S3) without problems. However, as soon as I connect a USB device (for example, a webcam), when I try to put the system into standby it comes right back out again.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanks in advance,

Razvan.

I found a workaround for this: the BIOS upgrade to version 0803 seems to have solved it.

Strangely, BIOS version 0804 does not work, even though in the description it claims to have solved a "USB bug"!

Go figure.

Razvan.
