Feeling kinda stoopid, I've been trying to update the MS IDE drivers in my W2K install with the Nforce4 drivers, but I'm unable to change them. Am I missing something? I've tried several different packages (7.15, 6.85) and I'm having no luck. Can someone educate me? Thanks...

have you tried installing them through the device manager? update drivers tab and direct windows to look in the nvidia folder/ide.

I've tried using the setup routine included with the driver package, I've tried extracting the files and using device manager to update the driver pointing to the IDE folder the files were extracted to. I've tried Legacy, SataIde, SataRaid with no luck. It seems like the inf file that it's looking for is not in those folders. Am I using the right driver package?

you might want to ask in the nvidia drivers forum.

i don't use the ide drivers on any of my nforce boards including my ecs nf3.

i downloaded the drivers for your board from ecs and they seem to be lacking them. there always has been a controversy on whether they work right or not. nf4 maybe a different animal though.
