Hello,
Time has come to upgrade my puny system, only cuz it wont run UT3 for love or money! well, for money it will, just gotta spend it right.
One thing thats always giving me problems with upgrades is memory.
At the moment im looking at a few possible candidates to go with Asustek AM2 nForce 570 :

1. OCZ Technology 2X1GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 CAS4
2. Kingston ValueRAM 2x1GB 240-Pin DIMM PC2-6400 Non-ECC CAS5
3. OCZ Technology 2x1GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 DDR2 Platinum
4. Corsair Memory TWIN2X2048-6400 2x1GB 240-Pin DIMM XMS2-6400 CL5

Any of them any good? if you dont think so please post good chips that are stable with the motherboard.

Thank you.

I would say OCZ Platinum > OCZ > Corsair > Kingston...
Maybe try looking at Kingston HyperX or Geil Ultra? Both have CL4, are overclockable.

thanks

in the end i went for OCZ Technology 2x1GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 DDR2 Platinum.

Not being an expert, built the system in 1 hour, up and running an hour later.
Did have a slight problem with me not seating graf card properly. But the motherboard did some beeps , quickly fixed Very Happy

So far stable as, even with UT3 gaming for hours.

Well, I think only memory worth buying is G.Skill. So.. if it's 6400 blocks you want try CL4-4-3-5 HK series or newer CL4-4-4-5 HZ series. awerate costing and haven't have any failures in last really many blocks I've seen even on extreme use. A lot faster than most corsairs I've seen.

only prob on these new memories is that they need the ASUS 1.90Volts or actual stock 2.0-2.1v to be clean functional last ASUS-M2N AM2 I owner worked perfectly with HK series 1.900v.

just for note if I were you I definedly wouldn't buy those Kingston blocks have 2 of them on my closet and I know the blocks are like brand new and when I start vista on lowest latencies they still crash for random memory errors.
