I have a couple of spare computer lying around an I was wondering how I would go about setting up a dedicated Quake 4 Linux server. The server would probably have to start up Quake 4 automatically because I am probably going to shove it in a closet without a keyboard, monitor, or mouse. What are the hardware requirements to doing something like this, and would I be able to remotely administrator it. If I could run it on Debian I would probably be able to do a remote desktop to it.

Please help

Remote desktop could easily be achieved through VNC.

Requirements are here
