Hope I picked the right forum for this, as I don't think it's a specific mobo problem. I've been having problems with gaming performance (stuttering, slowdown), and have tried a billion things to no avail and was guessing this could be the culprit. Was looking through Device Manager, when I came upon the IRQ section and found I had 2 conflicts listed under PCI system management. Here's a screenshot of it;

No idea what it means and I can't seem to find a solution anywhere on the net for this. Would anyone here happen to know of any fix? I have the latest nForce drivers installed and everything. Quite a few others have had this problem over the years too. If any more info is needed let me know.

I have this exact same problem. It's hasn't caused any performance issues for me, but I've been having weird bootup problems that's very annoying. Seems to be prevalant with the two nforce4 ultra boards I have (MSI neo4-fi and BFGtech nForce4u). On the flip side, I don't seem to have this problem with my MSI Neo4 N8 with has the non-Ultra nForce4 chipset.

Just FYI, the only PCI card I have installed is my Creative X-Fi. The problem still exists even if I uninstall and take card out.

Yeah it's an odd problem, probably a bit rare. I also have a MSI board, K8N Neo4 to be exact. I'm not sure if it does cause problems, but it's obviously something set up wrong and can't be helping things.

Hoping someone here has a solution for it, as it seems to be something that has gone unfixed for those with it for years.

I had this problem on my old MSI K9N Neo and i solved it by making IRQ 9 Unavailable in the Bios.

I tried disabling a few channels, including the one PCI system management was on. All that happened was it was then assigned to a different channel, with the same conflicts showing.
