Hello, I have just upgraded my PC and in doing so I gave my old MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum, AMD64 3200+, 2x512MB GeiL RAM (He already has 2x512 Corsair Value), 80GB WD SE, and my Antec Trueblue to my friend.
Bearing in mind it was all working 100% fine. Now we had some trouble with the hard drives upon installing but that got sorted, all was working fine, he took his PC home and then I receive a text 'wont go past bios splash screen'.
Now I don't know why it would do this, or what could of caused it. As I said it was running fine here and hes due any second so I need ideas on what this could be!
Any help appreciated. |

| something could have worked its way loose in transit, tell him to check the ram is seated properly and the IDE Leads are all in tight. |

Hello, sorry for not replying sooner but it appeared to be fixed now just get another call and its gone again same problem.
He didn't add any addition USB devices when it was working for me I had a USB mouse, keyboard, printer, webcam, Mobile via USB. And as far as i'm aware he just has USB M @ K, Printer.
We have reseated everything and triple checked. Thing is whenever I reset the CMOS it works for a bit. He's coming up again in a sec so would really like to make some sound progress this time!

one thing i would do is disable the splash screen. then he should be able to see where it's hanging.
if it's stalling with the ide detections, check the wd drive jumper.
