Ok need help fast as Im behind with this 2nd hand PC build for a family friend.
I have aquired a 2nd hand Chaintech 7NJS Ultra ZENITH which are a pain in ass to set up esp the Sata raid needing set up as raid even for single drive use, and now I find its not got soundstorm but some other 5.1 sound which needs a break out bracket to let Sub and Centre Speakers work, well I am missing this and missing the weird AMR card that lets mobo have 1394a firewire, funny as its built into most NF2 mobos not on card.
I already have got this friend new 5.1 speakers so ideally want this bracket and ideally also want the 1394 card, worse case is I fit a old Soundblaster Live 5.1 and get latest modded drivers+apps.
Does anyone here have any of the parts or both ideally and willing to sell to me ideally in UK.

EDIT: That 1394 isnt a AMR type like mobos slot and manual shows, I dont get why it needs a card when I can see 1394 in bios, I dont see any 1394 chip on mobo or a header for one so assume it msut need the card.

you can pick up a pci 1394 for next to nothing.
as far as the soundstorm goes, it was digital only. you would have needed digital speakers or a receiver to make use of it.
it looks like the live 5.1 will be your choice.
it's still a good board though.

Its a POS, major crap to set up as of Promise Sata, you got to set up single drive as a performance raid to even get windows installed, it dont have soundstorm its c-media or something, also the 1394 aint pci is ACR (like a pci slot round other way hense the bios has settings for the 1394, I aint really bothered about the 1394 only the break out bracket with sub and centre speakers sockets on it.
What a joke to make the sound different from toher NF2 or even use break out brackets for the 5.1 sound, for now it will be 4 speakers cause I cant be bothered to downlaod the modded drivers+apps for the old card from the asian sites, I only ever ran these modded drivers/apps on audigy1/ audigy2 and audigy2 ZS for others, I own a X-FI, I probably will get more trouble then its worth on a older Live Value card.
No wonder there aint much Chaintech talk in here, I admit I used to buy their GPU's now Im with Gainward, and always use Asus mobos.
BTW Soundstorm aint digital only, sure there is a spdif, but the normal coloured sockets on rear of my Asus can give me 5.1 although I never really like it, prefer my Creative cards.
