GA-P35-DS4 issues with USB devices

Hi, I'm new here was lurking, now I'd like to post what I've found as I confirmed the issues.

I have a GA-P35-DS4 Rev. 2.1 BIOS F12.

I have confirmed two nagging issues of compatibility with the board and external USB devices.

The first one I reported to Leo in tech support the second is new to me.

1) When a Buffalo 500GB Drive Station (USB/1394 version) is connected via USB and the switch on the rear of the drive is in the energy savings position, the MB will not POST.

2) When an Xbox 360 HDDVD Add On is connected the MB will reset its CMOS on boot up.

This is not a good thing. Luckily my other USB devices don't affect me, I gave up the idea of having the Add On attached and I switched the Buffalo to Firewire.

Anyone else seeing issues like these?
