Or does somebody know a other solution?

I've got this problem. I need to reverse my speakers. They're old, no-frills analog stereo speakers.
I tried downloading NVSwap, but all it does is run a test cycle through a number of speakers I don't have, and my two normal ones. Clicking the three icons on the right (which aren't labelled or anything...) does nothing.
Because of the way my desk and the room it's in is set up, I can't physically reverse the speakers. The wire's too short. The 'main' speaker, which thinks it's the right one, is the one that's connected to the main case. The second speaker is connected to the main one. If I put the main speaker on the right side of my screen again, the wire won't reach to the case.
So I need a software solution. It's got to be stupidly simple to solve, right? So why is it so hard? |
