| What settings are you using in your BIOS? FSB? CPU interface? Mem Freq? |

it's reverting to 'safe boot' settings for some reason, so i would make sure you aren't running anything out of spec or overclocked.
when it states the cpu is 1100mhz does it also tell you to go into setup and configure your system? |

Thread back from the dead. I'm running a SN41G2 v3, and it reverts to 1100 MHz FSB whenever it's coldbooted after being unplugged.
This is not from a bad CMOS battery: all settings are remembered on warm reboot. No OC. And it doesn't matter what RAM or CPU I use. Never happens on the same CPU/RAM on my SN41G2v1.4. Tried PC2100/3200/3500 RAM, tried 1700+ 2400+, 2500+, 3000+ CPUs.
If there's a fix for the v3, I'd love to hear. The v3 is my laptop replacement, and gets carried to client sites. It's never fun to be rebooting twice when a customer is watching and judjing my expertise.

My an35 started showing same issue within 12 months, 1st when it was cut
from the mains couple of weeks or so, lateron after each power off.
Replaced the CMOS battery and all was fine again.
Warmboot will pass ok even with a weak CMOS battery. |
