old version "nvraid.sys" and "nvstor.sys"

hi!

i have up to date raid + sata drivers (10.3.0.21).

now i had a look at the device manager, "non-plug and play drivers". there are two drivers "nvraid.sys" and "nvstor.sys" with version built 5.10.2600.0833 (vista sp1 built, i think).

if i deinstall and delete them from this directory, vista won`t boot anymore. any way to update them? i remember that someone posted some screens of this, but unfortunately i can`t find them anymore.

actually that is why I created you an 'cleaner' reg with every single package here. Install the package in make sure your 'Serial-ATA controllers' are up-to-date what ever package you updated. Run the clean-up reg..

If you get any similar problems you can solve these problems by copying either from secondary system or from Vista DVD command prompt any signed nvstor.sys back in the 'windows\system32\drivers'
