okay - having seen the recent spec's of the ATI 4850's runnning in X-fire, I'm now thinking that I might want to jump on the dual gfx bandwagon sooner rather than later... which means I have made a bit more budget availble... maybe around £140 for the mobo?

That still leaves enough for a Q6600 (already have my Zalman 9700) and then 2 x 2Gb of CAS5 DDR1066....

Recommendations??

How about a DFI LANPARTY DK X48-T2RS?

Or should I be looking at some of the nVidia based boards (i.e. eating my earlier words):

Also, I'm confused with all the DFI ranges? The DK range is for people who want to dabble with some tweaking and overclocking, the LT is for people who want to really push the motherboard and CPU HARD and the UT range is for the liquid nitrogen cooled nutters?

I pulled the trigger: DFI LanParty DK-X48-T2R (£135) next day delivery... should get to play with it all on Sunday...
