New here so wanna start of saying hi to all.
I recently upgraded my whole system. New Mobo is ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
and I saw huge gains in Aquamark Benchmarks after switching from old board to the nForce 570. GFX Score was 23,949 and an average frame rate of 125.25. This was using the nForce chip set driver that windows update found. I tryed the newest chipset drivers from nVIDIA once(15.01) and my gfx score dropped to 14,000. I had to format again anyway so I used the Windows Update drivers again. Score went right back up to 23-24k. Ok no problems.... untill I just installed Windows Vista Home Premium's SP1 today and now im right back to 13-14k GFX scores. Im using the newest Geforce 9 Series Video Driver 175.19 from nvidia so that wasnt changed with the SP1 install.
It seems to me that SP1 updated the nForce 5 Chipset drivers for Vista32. How do I remove all of the nforce drivers and let windows update do its thing again if I dont have an Uninstall for nForce Chipset Drivers in the Control Pannel or in the Device Manager? Only drivers its allowing me to see in the control pannel is NVIDIA Display Driver, NVIDIA Ethernet Driver Componets and in the device manager all there is..is: NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller #1 and #2, NVIDIA nForce PCI System Management, and NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT.
Also there seems to be no nForce Drivers for this board (for Vista32) on ASUS's site even tho specs on newegg say "Certified for Vista"
System Specs:
Windows Vista x86 Home Premium w/ SP1
Zalman 9700
AMD Athlon x2 6400+ @ 3.3
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe
4GB Mushkin DDR2 667 - 4-4-4-10
Intel PRO PT/1000 NIC
GeForce 9600 GT OC
Creative X-Fi Extreme Gamer
Rosewill 750w PSU
NZXT Tempest Case
320 Gig WD 8MB 7200 RPM
2x 250GB WD 16MB 7200 RPM(Both just died in a Raid 0 Array, reason for the formating)
If you guys have any other suggestions for solving this im all ears.. thats alot to lose from installing a service pack.

*Would just uninstall SP1 but it fixed my unstable internet connection* |

Hi LanCe,
welcome to nForcersHQ Forums!
You are not the only Vista user with an nForce chipset mainboard, who is unsatisfied by the drivers, which were and are still offered by NVIDIA and Windows Update.
My recommendation:
Look into the first posts of the "sticky" Vista threads of this Forum. I am sure, that you will find a solution for your problems.
