Nvidia 6100 diplay driver Help please?

hello,
i just bought my first desktop computer. Although it is new ever since is got it i have been having problems with the display driver. Anytime i try to watch shows or play games my screen go to black for 1 to 2 seconds. and will say no signal when it comes back a box will appear saying nviddmkm display driver has stopped working but has completely recovered?
i have an acer aspire equipped with windows vista home basic
AMD Athlon(tm) 64bit x 2 dual core proccesser 4000+
nvida GeForce6100 nForce (Microsoft Corp-WDDM)

im sorry if this question is already been answered but i'm still new to a computer.
any help at all would be greatly appreciated thank you.

use the latest forceware in nvidia page,my girlfriend has that onboard videocard and works fine with the latest drivers 94.24
