| I've got 10, count 'em 10 machines in my house. All running Ubuntu 7.10 and very solid. I only have 1 machine that doesn't like the splash screen, so I have to turn it off on that system. The wife, all 6 kids & 2 grand kids are Ubuntized and loving it. |

Anyone suffering problems with the repo Nvidia drivers in Ubuntu should try out the 169.04 betas :-

Sorted out a few small glitches for me on the GF8, as well as the 'huge' speed bump.

Hey PA, have you had any issues with SATA HD's? I couldn't for the life of me get 7.04 to install, or even load with the live disc on my server. 7.10 will at least run off the live disc, as long as I'm not running my two SATA drives.
I figured I would have issues because I'm running SLI on that machine, but instead it's SATA thats giving me the headaches.
