M7NCG-400 warning for overclockers

The older Durons don't seem to work quite right on this board - I had the same trouble with my 1 ghz Duron: http://www.nforcershq.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46099

Dunno about the newer Durons. The Palomino's, Tbreds, Bartons all work fine, however.

I send my board back last friday and will get a M7NCG-400 exchange asap. Hopfully it'll be rev. 7.2!

Well, I got my order from NewEgg in almost no-time and assembled the system last night.

With the Mobile Barton 2500+ I bought I have settings for FSB multipliers, at least I think I do. I looked at them, but didn't try changing them.

Out of the box it defaulted to a 133MHz FSB, which is correct for this processor.

I tried installing Win2k. The CD based setup worked fine, but once it rebooted it hung halfway through the low-rez graphics "starting windows" screen. I'm going to try brinking my processor and ram bus speeds into line and see if that helps (as some people have suggested).

ARGH!!!!!! This is crap!
I got this board because it's the only Nforce2 mATX left in the world, it seems.
I have the v7.2 and a 2600+ Mobile Barton and THE FREAKING MULTIPLIERS DO NOT WORK!!!! This is a 2.5ghz chip and it's freaking running at 1.2ghz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can offer any help here, I'd love you forever. I'm at a complete loss now. I don't even know what to think.
