Ok... after 3 days of intence trying and mayor headaches, i've decided to register and post.
I've a mobo a8n-e for quite some time and allways runs smoothly with windows, a couple of days ago I tried to install ubuntu just for fun, ofcourse as I always been a windows user, I completly destroyed my partitions table and I have to install all over again (win and ubuntu)... all seems to work just fine, but the sound card is not detected on either one.
The sound was working just fine before i tried to repair the partitions table and install windows, even the ubuntu livecd was detecting the sound card... but now, nothing.
I reinstall the bios with the bios update tool for win, but it was useless.
So... any ideas?
Btw, sry for english, i know it's not quite good but i try

| i'm still having problems, i just downgraded my bios dirvers to 1010 (before i was using the 1013) but there no changes... |
