Hi All!
I have K9N Platinum motherboard where I've been using 2 HD's a RAID + 2 SATA drives as extra non RAIDed drives, running XP.
Anyways, today I installed Vista Ultimate edition, loaded in the RAID SATA driver in the install, everything went smoothly.
After the installation I can't find any of the other NON-RAIDED harddrives.
Only the striped raid.
I haven't even touched the BIOS.
To be even more specific, I haven't been able to access the BIOS for a long time while pressing DEL, nothing happends, its just continues.
Anyways, all these things worked fine with the XP installation, but then this with the Vista install. That's so weird. I didn't re-format any of the hard drives.
I can also add that in the Disk Management it only shows Disk 0, but no Disk 1/2 like it should.
Also I looked in the Device Manager in the NVIDIA nFORCE Serial ATA Controllers, the drives show up there, but do not show up in the Disk drives list.
Can somebody share some light to this problem?
I'm missing about 400 gigs of drives
Thank you
