No they do not..
And Abit has really bad support on this are in general.. the AN7 you refer supports up to AMD 2800+ XP & neither does NF7sv2, but in experimental sense. The AMD 3000+ XP is 333Mhz processor and basically the specifications from board is enough (both mobos supports up to 400Mhz FSB), but it's not on any support lists nor as far I checked there ain't any modded bios to it.

Well, I don't know about your friend.. but what I do know I can check Abit product site for CPU supports and these boards according to Abit doesn's support higher than 2800+, but as I said the board supports up to 400Mhz and 3000+ XP goes 333Mhz so don't see technical issue by why it wouldn't work.. |

my last PC was an Abit NF7-S v.2 with an AthlonXP 3000+ CPU
I used the mantaray d26 bios (IIRC) which was great (it overclocked more stable than the official Abit bios). I think there are two versions of it, one with a command rate of t1 and another with command rate of t2. Think i used the t1 version.
have a look on google. there is tons of info on the NF7-S revision 2 (which is not the same as the NF7-S2 - a fairly crap board as won't overclock). Plus there are quite a few modded bios's for it. Do a search for 'mantaray' in the Abit section of this forum. |
