I, long time ago, pulled out the battery... *don't ask*
This caused everything to work at a reduced clock speed... I think it set to like 1Ghz, I am not sure...
I did not find settings to set the speeds back to normal... there were like other options but, nothing regarding that...
How did a techie do it?
This like, bugged me forever. |

| depending on the board, it should be just the matter of setting the FSB and clock settings in the bios and the chip speed should return to normal |

Well there was the area which showed that... but it was greyed out.
I have award BIOS...
Is there like a secret setting or something? |

Time to read the manual? I suppose there's a jumper somewhere that may need set. |

| no jumper setting change would be needed if the bios just was reset. |
