i found an way to use the spdif on DFI nForce 4 chipset "not expert'






it will work with Nforce 4 chipset

Huh, didn't anyone know that? I've been using the nforce spdif for over two and a half year (from the day I received my motherboard). I even connected an optical spdif output to the headers on the motherboard, costed me about 2 euros.

Its a shame it doesn't support any dolby encoding like the nforce 2 did, so i just bought a sound card for that last week.

By the way, I never liked the sound of the realtek drivers and always used the nforce audio drivers. Works perfectly.
