Good old Wiki says that the same GPU models work together (e.g. G70, G73, G80, etc) regardless of bio's revisions or memory.
Yet i been told that a 8600gt and a 8600gts wont work together.
Is this true or was it once true with older drivers?
Guess i should have messed with sli sooner...lol. |

Don't see why they wouldn't work. Only real difference on GTS is the memory speed, fill rates clock, but GPUs are same(G84) so should. Not the best compo since GT cannot reach GTS clocks. So that might be an issue.

It would seem there is something abit different with the gpu that prevents this from what iam told.
Fortunately i was able to just replace the gts with a gt to avoid this issue.
So i loose a few fps on the gt when using the signal card, its not a hardship when i can get all three lcd's working happy in vista.
If i really feel the need to game play then i can always do the sli.
