I have an Epox 9NPA+ that used to show proper temperature and fan speeds in speedfan for a year. Today I realised that from the three board sensors only the one showing the cpu core temp was actually working and showing very high temperature 65. I opened my case and saw that my cpu fan was not turning! I turned off the automatic fan speed adjustment from BIOS and after a reboot the CPU fan was turning fine. Later a realised that the 3 fan speed sensors were all showing 0 RPM plus the two others temperature sensors were showing 127 degree both in speedfan and in BIOS which probably confused the auto fan speed logic causing it to stop. What could have gone wrong? Anyone had a similar experience? I didn't change anything in my hardware configuration when that happened - it was working fine the day before.
