Its been over a year since I started this thread but anyway...I just got my GB of Crucial balistix 500MHz and stuck it in the Abit NF7-S ver 2 mobo..the lights are neat..I just wish I could utilize the extra MHz. My Sata 150 RAID0 seems to balk at the slightest raise in FSBabove 200 MHz...kindly informing me with blue screens and orphaned files. I have the new RAM at the required voltage and settings for 250MHz. PCI stays at 33.33 no matter woot. At 205 MHz (410 rated), I will start getting errors...not from RAM...not from undervoltage...not from overheat...Its the Silicon Image chip...it screws up everything. Gonna try different stuff but i think i hit a brick wall with silicon crap. Sure its fast, sata 150 raid0? very nice. what is the trade off to go to ideRAID and up the FSB?

That Athlon XP 2600-M has not twitched in the time since my first post here. @2400MHz/1.7v, constantly, day-in day-out, and it ran seti@home and einstien@home for over a year and it's still way faster than I can click and move a mouse. It shows its weakness when you try to run two programs at once...
